Kash Patel, 45, currently leads the nation's top law enforcement agency.

Patel supervises 37,000 staff members in fifty-five domestic branches, plus three hundred and fifty satellite offices and more than 60 foreign locations.

His career advanced swiftly inside the Trump administration after being hired as a national security aide in twenty-nineteen, and in twenty-twenty was appointed senior advisor to the Pentagon leader.

He, the son of parents who emigrated from India, is a one-time criminal lawyer and government attorney.

During Senate hearings, Patel denied keeping a record of "deep state" enemies, and minimizing divisive statements from his past, for example referring to agents who probed Trump as "corrupt actors".

The publication titled Government Gangsters, issued in twenty-twenty-three, he advocated a removal of what he termed "state oppression" at the FBI by dismissing "senior leadership".
