However, similar to a prior effort—the Euro Slam—which folded in 2019, the new league faced delays and was pushed to 2026. The former CEO stays engaged as chairman of the venture, stating his confidence in its potential.

“I strongly trust in this as a idea,” he stated, noting his desire to one day see club teams in nations like European neighbors.

Squad Perspective and Looking Ahead

As for the squad, the focus is on upcoming fixtures. Before the ball is in the first bowler’s hand,” remarks Stirling, “there is little use thinking excessively on future plans.”

He further noted the value of experience to overseas coaching and players, which would “boost the entire structure from the ground up.”
